When examined, what should not have a clear theme seems to present a spectrum of humanness that encompasses emotions, dreams, physicality, behavior, connection, appetite, expression, motivation, and sensory perception. Featured on the program is Dave's interview with Cree-Dene musician, educator, and music therapist Sherryl Sewepagaham, who recently led a team of academics and Indigenous music experts in the creation of the Kanata: Contemporary Indigenous Artists and Their Music learning resource developed for students between grades 7 and 12.
The Kanata curriculum also features participation from three diverse Indigenous music creators. Silla & Rise, Jeremy Dutcher, and Snotty Nose Rez Kids.
In addition to all that the program also includes clips from interviews with members of Silla & Rise as well as roots rocker Adrian Sutherland.
