Proud Canadians concerned about corporate monopolies controlling our media need to step up during our spring and fall fund drives to financially support and insure we maintain a healthy network of public access community media broadcasters across this country. Dave O Rama continues his spring series celebrating love and love songs with a bittersweet Lovecast selection of love vibes in a psyched out style. This edition of The Lovecast is dedicated to singer-songwriter Jill Sobule. Sobule was featured on the program this week in a duet with X member John Doe. Tragically, the musician perished in a house fire at the exact same time I was completing production of this specific episode. I did not become aware of her death until after this episode of the show had already been submitted for broadcast. I send this out in memory of her.
