The Lovecast with Dave O Rama - December 25 2020 - The Power Failure Version - CIUT FM 
The Lovecast is traditionally a Christmas music free zone even when it lands on Christmas. I was brought up in the Christmas tradition as with many people who grew up in Canada. But I view Canada as a multicultural society and I don't appreciate the fact that everything becomes about Christmas during the weeks surrounding the Winter Solstice. Most cultures participate in different forms of Winter Solstice celebration, but here in North America we forget that the majority of the Earth's human population does not celebrate Christmas. This is why The Lovecast provides a Christmas music free zone. It's just my way of celebrating diversity.
This week the show almost did not get produced because we experienced a short rare snow storm and resulted in a 10 hour power outage here at crazy acre. So once the power was restored I had to quickly get this edition of The Lovecast produced and edited to meet the winter holiday production deadlines.

The Lovecast November 27 2020 Joyful Noise Version Part 1 - CIUT FM
A couple of weeks prior to producing this episode of The Lovecast I took a casual poll on my Facebook page making this request of my friends. "NAME A TYPE OF MUSIC FROM ANYWHERE ON THE PLANET THAT IMMEDIATELY BRINGS YOU JOY."
I have to admit that I was very impressed with the amount of responses the post received and the quality of those responses. So impressed that I decided to use the suggestions made by my friends as a template for my next edition of The Lovecast. But once I engaged in that task I quickly came to realize that there were far too many great suggestions for just one show.
So, to do justice to all the amazing recommendations of joyful music styles contributed by my fabulous Facebook friends I decided to turn it all into a three part series called "Joyful Noise."
