This is Part 1 of my Lovecast Politrix & Protest Songs two part series.
Two shows dedicated to songs that bravely bring attention to the injustices of our society.

 

We need protest music more than ever today. Corporations have co opted every aspect of our lives including our popular music. Pop charts are saturated with songs that blatantly promote sexual objectification, unbridled materialism, narcissism, and disrespect for others.

 

I'm using my musical knowledge on these shows to expose younger generations of music creators to the power of the lyrical musical message in shaping a better society and to call out and identify fascist and narcissistic tyrants and their abusive behaviors and policies

 

The Lovecast is a two hour broad spectrum music exploration show hosted by Dave O Rama and airing Fridays from 12AM to 2AM on CIUT FM Toronto Canada, focusing on global grooves and funkee schizophonics
