In celebration of Black History this episode of The Lovecast has been designated a Dubcast. A showcase of music influenced by the musicians from the island of Jamaica. Reggae has not only had a long history as a music of social enjoyment possessing a big party spirit, but it has remained steadfast as a form of protest music and a promoter of peacefulness and unity. Reggae and Dub are two of Dave O Rama's favourite genres of music, and every so often he loves to set up The Lovecast Soundsystem and throw down a big Dubcast party for his friends and listeners. If you love Reggae music then this Dubcast will not disappoint.
The Lovecast is a two hour broad spectrum music exploration program hosted by Dave O Rama, airing Saturdays from 4PM to 6PM EST on CIUT FM, Toronto, Canada, and syndicated on www.bluesandrootsradio.com, www.ubuntu.fm, CJMP FM.
